Jeremy Bacon, 20, of 3 Shorelands Ct in Old Greenwich turned himself into Greenwich Police on July 6 on an outstanding warrant stemming from an incident that took place on Shorelands Court on June 9 around 11:30pm in which the victim sustained a stab wound and was transported to the hospital emergency room.
According to Greenwich Police, cell phone video and witness statements of the incident were later obtained.
Lt David Nemecek told reporters during the Monday July 10 press briefing that the call originally came in as a fight at a large party where a victim had sustained a stab wound.
“It was a party and an altercation broke out with multiple people fighting,” Nemecek said. “During the melee there was a stabbing.”
Mr. Bacon was charged with Breach of Peace 2 and Assault 1. He was released from police custody after posting a court set bond of $50,000.
He was assigned a court date on July 21, 2017 in Stamford Superior Court.
