Miriam E Rodas, 37, of 17-11 Armstrong Court was arrested on May 10 at Armstrong Court in Chickahominy for an incident back on August 5, 2013. She was charged with three counts of Probation Violation, two with court set bonds of $10,000, one with a court set bond of $50,000.
Ms. Rodas was unable to post bond and was placed in a Greenwich Police cell block.
According to the Connecticut Judicial Branch website, on May 5, 2014, Rodas was found guilty of Risk of Injury to a Child following an incident on August 5, 2013. She was sentenced to four years jail, execution suspended after 45 days, three years probation.
More recently, on April 21, Ms. Rodas was charged by Greenwich Police for a hit-and-run crash in the area of 1233 East Putnam Ave in Riverside. Police located Rodas’ car a short time after she fled the crash. She was in the car but not driving it at the time.
Rodas, who initially did not give Greenwich Police her true name, identified by her driver’s license, though she attempted to hide it. The man driving the car at the time also identified the woman as Ms. Rodas, and said she had been driving the car at the time of the crash. On April 21, Rodas was arrested and charged with Interfering with an Officer, Evading an Accident with Serious Injury and/or Property Damage, Improper Passing and No Insurance. She was released on a $1,000 bond and assigned a court date in Stamford Superior Court on May 5, 2017.
