Kevin S Slusarz was involved in car crash in the parking lot of Greenwich Public Library at about 4:30pm on July 1. During on scene investigation, Slusarz, 51, of 149 Greenwich Ave, Apt 5 in Stamford, failed a series of field sobriety tests. Mr. Slusarz was placed under arrest for Illegal Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Making an Improper Turn.
A criminal history check of the accused showed that Mr. Slusarz has two prior convictions for DUI. As this is Slusarz’s third offense, potential jail time and penalties increase significantly.
A court date of July 16 was assigned in Stamford Superior Court. Mr. Slusarz was unable to post his $1,000 bond and is being held in Greenwich Police custody pending arraignment.
