On March 27 Greenwich Police went to the home of Ranjan Mitra to serve a warrant for Failure to Appear in court on Jan 12, 2017 to answer for a charge of Threatening 2nd degree. The charge stemmed back to December 2016.
Mr. Mitra was arrested and charged with Failure to Appear 2. His bond was set at $25,000, which he was able to post. He was assigned a court date of April 10, 2017 in Stamford Superior Court.
Back on Dec 20, police arrested Mr. Mitra on a warrant stemming from an earlier incident in which he allegedly called a victim’s phone and related that he was going to “come there and blow (the victim’s) brains out.” Mr. Mitra, was charged with Threatening 2nd degree. He was able to post his $10,000 bond and was assigned a court date on Dec 21, in Stamford Superior Court.
