Colgate University announced that several students from Greenwich received a Dean’s Award, and Dean’s Award with Distinction for fall semester 2016.
Students receiving the Dean’s Award with Distinction, which requires a term grade point average of 3.6 or higher while completing at least 3 course credits, are:

- Kenneth Citron, Colgate Class of 2019, a graduate of The Lawrenceville School
- Alexandra Jurkowitz, Colgate Class of 2017, a graduate of The Hotchkiss School
- Philip Brauer, Colgate Class of 2018, a graduate of The Taft School
- Matthew Swain, Colgate Class of 2017, a graduate of Rye Country Day School
Students receiving the Dean’s award for academic excellence, which requires a term GPA of 3.3 or higher while completing at least 3 courses, are:
