The breakroom at Greenwich Police headquarters is named in honor of longtime friend Anne L. Carson who died on Feb 9, 2017 at the age of 100.
Lt. Tommy Keegan and Chief Jim Heavey shared the story of the unlikely friendship between Anne Carson and Greenwich Police. Carson, who died this week at the age of 100, befriended police through the TTY machine (teletype device).

A ranch house at 9 Manor Road has been noticed for demolition with the Town of Greenwich building department. Because the house is not over 60 years old, the town does not require the owners to post a demolition sign outside the house. The house is on .36 of an acre, and, according to Zillow, “will handle 5767 sq ft of dwelling or possibility of splitting the lot with approval from P&Z.”
