Republican State Representative for District 151, Fred Camillo, who won re-election for a fifth term last November, is launching a radio show on WSTC 1400 AM on Saturday. Beginning February 18, Camillo will host an hourly program from 9:00am until 10:00am featuring guests from a variety of backgrounds and viewpoints.
On the 18th, Camillo will have the Greenwich High School boys from the Youth Equipment Sharing (YES) Club call in for an update on their used sports equipment drive, including plans for distributing the gear to local non-profits and a collaboration with Eric of Birdie’s Auto Spa, who offered to clean and sanitize donated helmets.
Also, this Saturday, Camillo will have guests Joe Kaliko of Needs Clearing House and veterinarian Dr. John Robb, who will discuss the law that requires that small dogs receive the same dose of the rabies vaccination as large dogs. Dr. Robb ran afoul of the state Veterinary Board when he gave smaller dogs a smaller dose of the vaccination on the grounds that the full dose is dangerous and potentially lethal to small dogs.
