The boys outnumbered the girls at Greenwich Hospital as seven area couples experienced a Valentine’s Day they will always remember.
Doctors at Greenwich Hospital delivered seven babies on Valentine’s Day, including four boys (Baby Grigoreva of Greenwich, Baby Mulcahy of Larchmont, Baby Torres of New Rochelle and Baby Zanetti of Rye Brook) and three girls (Baby Campo of New York City, Baby Namegabe of Larchmont and Baby Parker of Harrison).
Jacqueline and Sean Mulcahy said they weren’t planning on having a Valentine’s Day baby. But the arrival of their first child, Graham William, was perfect timing. “We’ll never forget his birthday,” said Jacqueline.
Many of the newborns sported knitted red hats created by volunteers for the American Heart Association’s Little Hats, Big Hearts program to raise awareness of heart disease (the leading cause of death among Americans) and congenital heart defects (the most common type of birth defect in the country).
